Overview
We respect intellectual property. This policy explains how we handle complaints about content that can be reached through the Service.
The app uses YouTube API Services so people can search and play publicly available content. Those features are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Youtify does not host, upload, or store third-party media files on its own servers. Content is requested by the user through third-party services. Copyrights and trademarks remain with their owners.
1. Third-party content
The app lets users search and play third-party content through user-initiated requests. We do not control, review, or guarantee the ownership, accuracy, or legality of that content. You are responsible for using it in line with the law and the owners’ rights.
2. Copyright complaints
If you believe content reachable through the app infringes a copyright you own, or a copyright you are authorized to enforce, send a notice as described below. We review complete notices and may limit access to the reported item in the app.
3. Where to send a notice
Send copyright notices to MELOSTARA TECHNOLOGY LLC using the developer contact published on the Youtify listing in Google Play. Include “Copyright notice” in the subject.
4. What a notice must include
- Identification of the copyrighted work and where to find the material in the app, such as a title, link, video ID, search terms, or a screenshot.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
5. How we respond
After a complete notice we may review the identifiers, restrict access to the item in the app, record the identifier so it is not offered again, take other steps needed for compliance, or refer the notice to the platform that supplies the content.
6. Repeat concerns
We may keep blocking identifiers or sources that draw repeated, valid copyright complaints.
Send notices that are accurate and made in good faith. A false or misleading claim can create legal liability for the sender.
